Squid Game 2 Trailer: Forget Lee Jung-Jae, fans go crazy about Choi Seunghyun aka T.O.P of Big Bang

Squid Game 2 trailer is out. This time, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) is back to play the game. He decides against going to the US to see his daughter. In the trailer, we can see some new characters and old ones. Lee Byung-Hun is back as the Frontman while Gong Yoo is there as the salesman who promotes the games. The show explores the theme of mortality, greed and survival. It seems filmmaker Hwang Dong-Hyuk did not have any plans for season two. But when Netflix motivated him to make a second season after the stupendous success of the first one, he decided to bring back some of the old characters.

Wi Ha – Joon is back as the cop who wants to find out who is behind this games racket. This time, he has got people with him. His relationship with his brother played by Lee Byung-Hun will be explored too. The other new additions are Lee Jinwook of Sweet Home fame, K-pop idol Im Si-wan and Choi Seung-Hyun who is better known as T.O.P from Big Bang. The presence of T.O.P as the evil villain has left Big Bang fans very excited.

Fans also noticed that Lee Jinwook and Park Sunghoon had been attending events together. They wonder if they are siblings. It seems there is a love story there as well. The contestants have heart-wrenching interesting stories like in season one. The official announcement was done at Netflix Tudum in Brazil. With a number of K-Pop idols being in the show, the viewership will get even better.

Squid Game 2 is one of the most anticipated shows of the show. The first season swept all global awards for Lee Jung-jae and Hwang Dong-Hyuk. The filmmaker is known for his dark movie Silenced that dealt with sexual abuse of kids in a school.
