Soundarya Sharma on making the shift from medical to acting, plans to go back to being a doctor and more

Soundarya Sharma who is going to be seen in the web series Raktanchal as the main protagonist has been catching a lot of eyeballs for the hotness quotient that she brings with her but not many more with this beauty comes a lot of brains too. Soundarya is a certified dentist and practiced in Delhi before acting happened to her. 

When did you decide to turn to act?

I was good in studies and everybody is a doctor, engineer, and IAS in my family! But never in my wildest dream thought I would become an actor but yes always looking At the songs n dancing in front of the tv always fascinated me, wondered how actors do it in front of the camera n loved by everyone. Started watching Hollywood films and eventually dreamt of becoming an actor since then.

Do you ever think of going back to being a doctor?

Well, I will always be a doctor whether I practice or not but practicing maybe later not as of now as I want to give my 100% to my work right now. 

If you'd draw similarities in terms of a profession, what'd you say are some or any between medical and current profile? (Could be the journey, the joys of work, anything)

I would say passion, patience, perseverance, and yes Focus 

With so much content out there, to watch and even work, how do you skim through what is a fit for you?

I’m open to doing all sorts of genres and roles though but my preference is something which I can relate to in terms of characters and stories. Which can make a difference to someone’s life.
