Sony TV's ratings drastically decline in the game of TRPs!

One of the leading GECs, Sony Entertainment Television, sees a drastic decline in its ratings!

As there is a fierce competition between the GECs, and every week being in the race of topping the chart one of the leading GECs Sony Entertainment Television got to a set back when the channel's TRPs declined drastically.

The TRP gainer show for them was the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati which contributed to get the maximum TRPs eventually ended on November 8. The result in the decline of the numbers were because of the newly launched shows which are yet to make their place on the TRP chart.

The channel's TRPs drastically declined from 116 to 90. We wonder what could be the reason for the downfall as two of their shows CID and Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap doing well at the TRP charts.

Itna karo na mujhe pyaar ... This is a good serial .. fast paced .. no crap slow dialogues... hope it keeps progressing fast and interesting enough.

Humsafars,Itna Karo na mujhe pyaar are promising...even if Humsafars is a mush mash of Gul's earlier shows, the superb chemistry between the leads and the awesome acting job by the male lead take this show to a new level..I agree that Sony needs to respect all their shows and give them equal airtime.

shows r different but the downfall reason is solely CID overdose .
I wont say don't show CID but too much means too much !

Please give importance to all your shows. CID also is a good show but repeating the same show all day won't help the channel and plus the repeats are of the episodes telecast years back. Repeat all the shows like MRP, IKNMP, ISK and so on and the TRP of the channel as well will increase. Give respect to all shows.

Maharan pratap and CiD r star shows of Sony . Humsufer is a repeat of so many shows made by gul and caters nothing new .

The fiction shows get ONE repeat a day.

Throughout the day you have CID repeats on to bug you out of your mind.

The channel has some very good shows. I am watching Humsafars which is getting more and more promising by the day. From what I have seen of Maharana Pratap and Itna Karo...they also seem to be good. Increase the repeats, Sony! And promote your shows better. You will see your TRP's skyrocket, because your content is at least watchable unlike Star Plus which only thrives on melodramas (Nisha aur uske Cousins is the only show I watch there on a repeat slot, and Airlines on Sundays).

The new shows are much better then SP ones. Specially humsafar and itna na karo mujhe pyaar are really good.. Of weekend shows I think Adaalat and Crime patrol are really good. I like itti si Khushi too.

I think the new serials humsafar,itti si khusi,hum hai Na all r good...but the lack of repeat telecasts and overdose of cid is the reason behind their downfall
