Meanwhile, just a day earlier, the singer took to Instagram to share his painful experience. In the video, Sonu Nigam disclosed that he had endured a severe back spasm while performing live. The pain was so excruciating that he likened it to a needle piercing his spine, which made movement incredibly challenging. He captioned the post, “Sarasvati ji did hold my hand last night.”
Sonu Nigam recently posted a touching video on Instagram, showing him grappling with intense back pain just hours before his concert in Pune. Despite the severe discomfort, he managed to deliver a high-energy performance for his fans, determined not to let his pain show.
In the video, Sonu is seen lying on a bed, wincing as his team helps him cope with the pain. He looked visibly affected but remained resolute about going on with the show. At one point, he was assisted down from the stage, trying to stretch and relieve the discomfort. Nevertheless, his spirits stayed high, and he performed with the same passion his fans have come to love.
Sonu shared the emotional moment with his followers, describing it as "one of the most difficult days of my life." He explained, "I was thinking gaate gaate jhatka dete hai na, that can also trigger the spasm. But I managed somehow. I never want to do less or give less when people expect so much from me. Ho gaya acha, I'm glad. This shaped up fine."
