Sonam's 'Gen Next' birthday present!

Although both her movies, Saawariya and Delhi-6 bombed on the box-office, Sonam Kapoor has become a name to reckon with due to her bold presence and spunky attitude which has landed her endorsements for not-notch brands.

 

The zestful actress received an invite for a leading Hollywood trade magazine to be featured in its Gen Next section along with other young cine stars from Asia.

While Sonam is ecstatic about this recent feather that she has gathered from her hat, her own gen next idol is the 'Star Wars' actress Natalie Portman. Sonam is fascinated by the manner Natalie has handled her life and career and believes that she connects with the actress.

 

Meanwhile, the youngster who wishes to work alongst Hollywood directors like Martin Scorcese,Sam Mendes, Pedro Almodovar, David Flincher, Mike Nichols and Woody Allen says that the magazine call was not her biggest birthday present. Infact it was her family, who spent their time with her on this joyous occassion after a long time.
