The Zoya Factor is an Abhishek Sharma directorial, adapted from a book of the same title written by Anuja Chauhan. The story revolves around a girl, named Zoya Solanki, who turns out to be a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket Team Captain. The trailer of the film dropped in today and has been raising questions if the film promotes the concept of Superstition.
Today at the trailer launch event, Sonam, who is the leading lady in the film talked about the central idea of the romantic-comedy flick. While she revealed that she is very superstitious in real life as well, Dulquer who plays the male protagonist says that he has never been to an astrologer and doesn't believe in luck.

On being whether the film promotes or supports superstition in society, Sonam said that she does not think that the film promotes the idea in any way and believes that everything a person gets in his/her life is as per their deeds. She stated, “I believe in destiny. Mai kismat pe bohot believe karti hu but I also believe that you get what you deserve according to your hard work. Eventually, I believe in Karma and in past lives. Everything happens because it's meant to happen, so only God knows kya sahi kya galat hai. It depends on each individual.”

Interestingly, at the trailer launch event, a group of astrologers was invited at the venue and even the release dates were decided based on numerology. While Sonam donned a red color outfit as a symbol of luck, Dulquer looked dapper in a suit. Also present at the event was the director of the film, Abhishek Sharma and producers Pooja Shetty and Aarrti Shetty.
