Sonam Reveals she is Superstitious, Rhea is an Atheist & Harshvardhan is Agnostic!

The trailer of Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan’s The Zoya Factor released today and it promises an entertaining tale based on the conflict between luck and hard work. While Sonam stars as Zoya, a young and successful advertising executive who becomes the good luck charm for India's cricket team during the World Cup, Dulquer plays Nikhil Khoda, the Indian Cricket Team Captain.

With superstition being the core concept revolving around the film, Sonam was asked if she is superstitious, to which she replied saying, Very. “I think it's a science. If the moon and sun can cause waves, then they definitely have an influence on us. I believe in destiny. Kismat pe mai bohot believe karti hu, par mehnat ki bhi bohot badi place hoti hai. So it's a combination of both."

"I like chanting Om Namah Shivay before I travel, I love Varanasi and Benaras a lot and I love going to the shiv temple there. That are some of my quirks.”

Further, she was also asked about who besides her in her family believes in superstition. 

“My father is very hard-working and he believes in working really hard. My mother is like any other Indian mom in the house doing pooja paat. My sister is really fun and she's an atheist. My brother is agnostic. So we have very different point of views, “ revealed Sonam at the trailer launch event.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, The Zoya Factor is slated to release on 20 September 2019.
