"Sonam (Lamba) and I had some problems initially but we bond well now." -Tanya Sharma

Having done shows like Afsar Bitiya (Zee TV) and It's Complicated: Relationship Ka Naya Status (Channel V), the beautiful Tanya Sharma became an instant hit in the Telly industry and soon bagged Star Plus' mega drama Saath Nibhana Saathiya. 

Currently seen as Meera, little would we know that Tanya is a Mass Media student and wanted to pursue her career in Public Relations. Inquisitive to know more about her choice of career, we contacted Tanya who shared interesting details about herself!

She stated, "To be frank, my sister encouraged me to take up Television and hence I gave it a shot. I am in my third year of BMM and I am pursuing acting along with it right now. I think nothing can replace education so it is a must right now."

On managing studies and acting she added, "I have a hectic work schedule and I shoot almost everyday but I have to manage my studies and work if I want to be successful at both."

Hmm...

While there were rumours about Tanya having problems with her co-star Sonam Lamba aka Vidya, she clarified the air saying, "Sonam and I gel well now. I feel every person is different and hence there were some problems initially but now we are fine with each other."
