Sonam Kapoor to Report the 'Lois Lane Way'
Who needs heroes when we can have 'superheroes', right? You would think tinsel town had more than its fair share of herculean protectors with Krish, G. One and Agent Vinod to save Bollywood's damsels in distress - but there are apparently more to come!

Rumor has it that Sonam Kapoor's sister and budding producer Rhea Kapoor, who debuted with the romantic comedy Aisha, has announced her next project which falls under the trendy superhero genre. Sources had few details to contribute regarding this film, apart from the fact that Sonam will portray the role of a fearless journalist in the film tentatively titled Herogiri.
The stylish starlet will be seen portraying a media enthusiast, for which she is said to have already headed to the newsroom to begin her 'research'. Sonam has been busy meeting many of her journalist friends and inquiring about their working lifestyles in order to bring a sense of authenticity to her portrayal of the profession.
After having followed the same procedure for Aisha, the modern adaptation of Jane Austen's timeless classic Emma, Rhea has bought the legal rights to Indian author Mainak Dhar's novel for her next potential development as a producer in the film fraternity. Dhar's book revolves around Arnab Banerjee, an assistant librarian who is beaten up and left for dead during a bank robbery, but subsequently awakens to discover incredible superhuman powers within him that set him off on an extraordinary journey.
Herogiri promises a refreshingly Indian take on the superhero genre, combining speed and action with deeper conflicts of good and evil, power and corruption, love and violence, and much more.
We do hope that Herogiri lives up to these promises when it eventually hits the silver screen; here's wishing the Kapoor sisters all the best for this "novel" attempt!
