Sonam Kapoor OPENS UP about RIVALRY with Kareena Kapoor

Here's what Sonam Kapoor has to say about her rivalry with Kareena Kapoor Khan...

Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are currently gearing up for the release of their upcoming film 'Veere Di Wedding'. Both the divas are seen sharing a great bond on screens and even during promotions that have recently begun.

However, things weren't the same a few months back, there were reports of rivalry between the two actresses. Insiders also had revealed that the two didn't get along well on the sets while they were shooting for the film.

But now, during an interview with Mid-Day, Sonam has cleared the air and said: "There's no rivalry between us. In fact, Bebo (Kareena), Rhea, me and Lolo (Karisma Kapoor) have a Whatsapp group called The Kapoor Girls. We post each other's yesteryear pictures on it. Bebo and I have been friends for 15 years."

She further said that they proved that "women can work with each other and get along."

She also stated that they do not pay heed to such stories, Sonam added, "Such gossip doesn't bother us because we are in a secure space. Bebo and I are third generation of actors (in our families) and we know how the media functions. We are great friends. We had a blast (while shooting Veere)."

Also, during the trailer launch of the film, Sonam spoke at length about Bebo. She was seen praising her co-star and even revealed she is her favourite hero.
