One would remember how actor Sonal Chauhan became a massive rage back in the 2010s owing to the stellar debut that she had with the film, Jannat co-starring Emraan Hashmi. However, post that the actor has selectively appeared in Bollywood films. Even though she has made quite an impact with her stint down South in multiple films, she recently went on to talk about how Bollywood has been entirely different.

Chauhan went on to talk about how favouritism and nepotism is a constant and that has led her to lose out on several projects. She said that the film world is full of it and it totally exists in showbiz just like in any other field. She said that she has lost out on several projects because the makers wanted to work with their favorite set of actors and she had to move out.

She mentioned how one has to accept it and move on because you win some and you lose some. She added how one needs to be persistent and something will come you to sooner or later.

Currently shooting for a film called The Ghost where she co-stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Chauhan said how getting a good film is like hitting jackpot. Every actor gives their best but one doesn't really know the results till the film hits the screens. She concluded saying how she feels glad that she is getting to work with Nagarjuna. 

Chauhan's last on-screen appearance was this year itself in the Telugu film, F3: Fun and Frustration.
