"Someone has cast an evil eye on Kapil Sharma!" - Manish

Of late, the very popular standup comedian, Kapil Sharma has been embroiled in a score of troubles, after a massive fire broke out on the sets of 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' on an ill-fated Wednesday morning, last week in Film City.

On this heartrending incident, actor-host Manish Paul expresses his grief in conversation with TellyBuzz. Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma who are touted as the Jai and Veeru of our Telly-land left no stones un-turned to tickle our funny bones with their extra-ordinary chemistry in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 6 on Colors.

Says Manish, "It was really shocking when I came to know about this unfortunate catastrophe. In fact, I was talking to Kapil the same morning while he was returning from Kolkata. The moment we ended our conversation, I got a call for the second time pertaining to the fire that broke out on his set. The tragic accident was so devastating that the entire set has touched the ground level, it's been so bad."

Talking about the show Comedy Nights with Kapil, Manish went on to say, "I even told Kapil that he has reached such great heights that someone must have cast an evil eye on him. His show Comedy Nights with Kapil is doing so well that I don't think so there is anybody who does not follow it. Right from the spot-boys to the super-stars in the industry, everybody is talking about Comedy Nights with Kapil."

"Nevertheless, I believe Kapil is an extremely hard-working guy. He has put his heart and soul into this show and nothing can stop him. Hum Punjabi hai, haar nahi maanenge! A new set will be built, but the show will not be affected under any circumstance."

Ask Manish, if we get to see the most commendable Jhalak host Jodi on Comedy Nights, promoting his upcoming film Mickey Virus, Manish says, "Definitely, I'll be going on Comedy Nights with Kapil. It's one of the biggest shows on Indian television at present, which entertains a large mass of audience. Moreover, Kapil himself is very excited to have me on his show."

Manish' co-star Elli Avram is making the most of her presence on the biggest reality platform Bigg Boss Season Saath 7. Her co-star Manish Paul is now planning to make an appearance on the show to promote their soon-to-be-releasing movie 'Mickey Virus'. "Yes, I'm planning to go to Bigg Boss as well. Regarding the same, I also had a word with Salman Sir (Salman Khan) and he said feel free to come on the show, we'll promote your movie together. So, I really feel honored with such a modest gesture coming from a super-star," concluded Manish.
