From being used to make labourer's uniform to now enjoying a status as the cornerstone of every modern woman's wardrobe, denim is for days. Be it rain, winter or summer, denim is a sturdy material and has proven strong with every wear no matter what the season. While that is something that we credit denim with, it has also been used to assemble some great style pieces, the ones that look extremely stylish, sturdy yet versatile. Just today at the airport we spotted Diana Penty donning an uber stylish washed out denim combo comprising of a jacket and high-waist bottoms.

Earlier this year, we had spotted Deepika Padukone in a utilitarian denim outfit, a very comfortable jean jumpsuit. 

Following Deepika’s style suit was Student Of The Year actress, Ananya Panday in a light wash denim jumpsuit.

Then we have Anushka Sharma taking the denim-on-denim trend to an all new level as she sported girlie denim separates 

Talking of denims, we still can’t get over this ultra gorgeous denim cutout dress by Dior that Kareena Kapoor wore last year while promoting Veere Di Wedding. 

Trust Sonam Kapoor to show us how denim would look in a saree. Sonam went ahead and styled it with a white shirt and black leather shoes.
