Smita Bansal roped in for 'Aladdin'

SAB TV is gearing up to launch Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga, a new fantasy show soon. The cast of the show includes Avneet Kaur and Siddharth Nigam who will play the lead characters. The two actors' performances were favoured in Chandra Nandini by fans and now they are going to be back onscreen as co-stars. While there is anticipation around the leads, the show is also casting other actors for major roles. 

We hear that Smita Bansal has been approached to play an important role in the show. If sources are to be believed, she will be roped in to play the Siddharth Nigam's onscreen mother. The actress has been a part of Jaana Na Dil Se Door. She is also going to play a part in Star Plus' upcoming show, Nazar. 

With so many exciting roles in her kitty, we wonder how her character on Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga will pan out.
