Sky Force OTT release: Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s patriotic drama now available for streaming

Sky Force, the action-packed film starring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, is now available on Amazon Prime Video. However, there’s a catch! The movie is not part of the regular subscription. Instead, viewers must rent it for ?349. Once rented, you have 30 days to begin watching and 48 hours to complete it after pressing play.

This war drama, also featuring Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur, is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapoor. Released just before Republic Day, the film received a decent response at the box office. Now, with its digital release, more viewers can experience its gripping story and power-packed performances.

Amazon Prime Video confirmed the movie’s arrival but clarified that it is only available on a rental basis. Ek kahani jo har bharatiya ko jaanni chahiye! Made on a massive budget of ?160 crore, Sky Force earned less than 140 crore net in India, according to reports. Despite falling short at the box office, the film’s patriotic theme and strong performances won over many viewers. The intense screenplay and direction were widely appreciated, though some critics pointed out issues with the VFX.

The movie is based on India’s first airstrike at Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. It portrays the bravery and sacrifice of Indian Air Force pilots, adding emotional depth to its high-octane action sequences. While its theatrical run had mixed results, Sky Force now has a chance to reach a larger audience through its OTT release.
