'Simmba' actor Kishore Nandlaskar passes away due to Covid-19

Kishore Nandlaskar's grandson Anish confirmed that his grandfather “breathed his last in the Covid centre between 12.30 pm to 1 pm.”

Actor Kishore Nandlaskar breathed his last today, April 20. The popular actor is known for his roles in movies like ‘Vaastav’, ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba’ and many others, passed away this afternoon (April 20, 2021) due to Covid-19.

Kishore Nandlaskar's grandson Anish, in his interaction with ABP, confirmed, "My grandfather was admitted to a Covid-19 Center in Thane on April 14 after he tested positive last week. He breathed his last in the Covid centre between 12.30 pm to 1 pm."

He added, “He was having trouble breathing and talking before being admitted to the Covid center. His oxygen level had also fallen significantly.”

Apart from his successful career in Marathi cinema and serials, he had also played character roles in several Hindi films in the last two and a half decades and made a mark as a supporting actor.

The veteran actor stepped into the world of the big screen with the Marathi film Ina Mina Dika in 1989. 

He also worked in many Marathi films like 'Miss You Miss', 'Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi', 'Gaon Thor Pudhari Chor', 'Jara Japun Kara', 'Hello Gandhe Sir', 'Madhyamvarg - The Middle Class'.
