Sikandar Kher on being a part of 'TVF Pitchers' Season 2

TVF's cult hit series Pitchers is back with a second season, that will stream on ZEE5 officially. The first season, released on TVFPlay and YouTube in 2015, and lasting five episodes, followed the trials and tribulations of four young entrepreneurs who quit their day jobs in order to pursue their start-up venture.

Sikandar Kher, who is seen in season 2 talks about being part of the show and his role.

Pitchers season 1 is a cult series. How does it feel to get onboard for the second season? What made you yes for this role?

Getting on board for Pitchers was pretty awesome as it is a cult show and I have watched and loved it myself. Arunabh and everybody involved have truly made something very special and now that they have announced the second season, I can really see what all the hype is about.

Tell us about your role and how did you prepare for it?

The role is about an entrepreneur who is in the tech industry and it’s quite interesting. I don’t know if I can reveal so much because it’s going to come out soon. But do keep your eyes and ears open when it drops on ZEE5. Do give it a watch and you’ll know more about this guy.

How was it working with your co-stars? Tell us one thing about them that their viewers would love to know!

Naveen is superb and great fun. We’ve gotten to know each other and become quite friendly. I think he is calm, extremely giving and I really enjoyed working with him and Arunabh as well. I don’t have many scenes with anybody else other than Naveen in this season. But I did have a scene with Arunabh and he was on set every day. It was amazing to collaborate with them, even during our readings. They are a bunch of really cool guys.

Apart from Sikander Kher Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Abhay Mahajan, Abhishek Banerjee, and Gopal Dutt are returning from the original cast. They will be joined by Ridhi Dogra and Ashish Vidyarthi as the new entrants.
