Siddharth Pithani files bail plea after arrest, awaits NCB reply

Sushant Singh Rajput's former flatmate Siddharth Pithani was recently arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Hyderabad, and he was brought to Mumbai on a transit warrant obtained from a local court there.

Post his arrest, Pithani filed a bail application, and now a special NDPS court in Mumbai has asked the investigating agency to file a reply by June 16. According to ANI, Siddharth Pithani was arrested in a case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. He was allegedly procuring and consuming contrabands.

After Sushant’s demise, Siddharth was called for several rounds of questioning by the NCB. The NCB was looking out for Pithani since August 2020. He was amongst the four people who were present at Sushant’s home in Mumbai when he was found hanging in his room on June 14, 2020.

Soon after Siddharth Pithani’s arrest, Sushant Singh Rajput’s house helps, Neeraj and Keshav were also summoned for further investigation.
