Siddharth is all praises for wife Aditi Rao Hydari’s Cannes look: ‘That sindoor..’

Aditi Rao Hydari is attending the 78th Cannes Film Festival, one of the most prestigious film events in the world, held annually in the French Riviera. The festival brings together filmmakers, actors, and artists from across the globe to celebrate cinema and showcase new films.

This year marks Aditi’s return to the Cannes red carpet, and it’s her first appearance at the event since her marriage to actor Siddharth in 2024. For her second outing at the festival, Aditi wore a deep red saree from Indian designer label Raw Mango. She completed the look with a sleeveless blouse, traditional jewelry, and sindoor, a symbol of marriage in Indian culture, making her look both elegant and meaningful.

She posted photos from Cannes with a simple caption: “Cannes” and a red heart emoji.

Siddharth, who has often praised Aditi publicly, shared her pictures on Instagram, writing “My love at Cannes” with a heart-eyes emoji. In another story, he added, “That sindoor though,” showing his appreciation for her look and their journey together.

Aditi is known for representing Indian culture at global events with grace. Her presence at Cannes is part of the growing visibility of Indian celebrities on international red carpets, reflecting the increasing recognition of Indian fashion and cinema on the world stage.

At Cannes 2025, several Indian actors drew attention with their presence and projects. Janhvi Kapoor made her debut at the festival with Homebound, a film that premiered in the ‘Un Certain Regard’ section, alongside co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa. Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and produced by Karan Johar, the film explores themes of friendship and ambition. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a regular at Cannes, also walked the red carpet with her daughter Aaradhya. Meanwhile, the Rajasthani film Omlo was showcased at the Cannes Film Market, bringing regional Indian cinema into the international spotlight.
