Shweta Tripathi offers support to cancer survivors! Plans to spend a day with them

Bollywood actress Shweta Tripathi is known for performing some of the most unconventional characters in Bollywood with her recent release Gone Kesh. She has performed in Mirzapur, Masaan, Laaknon Mein Ek and many more. She has been considerate for social acts and she spent her Saturday morning with cancer patients.

She was invited by an emotional support group which was started by a cancer survivor herself, Vandana Gupta. The cancer patients miss being at home during festivals like Diwali and hence they organized an event for them. 

“Diwali is a festival of joy and I cannot express how i felt when I saw that sparkle in their eyes. Their zest for life is inspirational and just charges you up. I feel blessed I could make even a small difference in their lives. I had one of the best mornings in a long time today.”, said the actress. 

Shweta Tripathi who will see very soon in Cargo and Illegal which are now being screened at the MAMI Film Festival encourages people to take some time out and visit this beautiful organization.
