Shubhangi Atre talks about separation from her husband, Piyush Poorey after 19 years of marriage

Shubhangi Atre, who is currently seen in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai and started her career with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and has featured in shows like Kasturi and Chidiya Ghar; is going through a separation. Shubhangi and her husband Piyush Poorey have separated. The two haven't been living together for almost a year now. 

Taking about the separation, Subhangi confirmed the news to the leading portal that it's almost been a year since they are not living together. Both of them tried their level best to reconcile and save the marriage. But however, they realised that they couldn't resolve the issue and decided to give each other space and concentrate on their individual lives and careers.

Also, she said it was difficult to decide as family has always been the top priority for her. And when a relationship of so many years goes through a breakup, it's bound to affect you mentally and emotionally. Shubhangi's daughter Ashi is 18 years old, and the couple has been cordial for her. Piyush comes on Sundays to meet her where Shubhangi also mentioned that she doesn't want her daughter to be deprived of her father's love. 

Shubhangi tied the knot with Piyush, who is into digital marketing, in 2003 in their hometown, Indore.
