Shooting for Riteish Deshmukh's 'Banjo' starts on 17th January 2016!

As reported earlier, Riteish Deshmukh's next, 'Banjo', a musical drama reflecting the essence of Marathi culture was to go on floors  in January 2016. Nargis Fakhri will be seen in the female lead role.

The date has been finally revealed and the movie starts rolling from 17th January 2016 onwards in Mumbai!

Produced by Krishika Lulla, Banjo marks the Hindi directorial debut of renowned Marathi filmmaker, Ravi Jadhav. The hit duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani will be lending their music to this film.

Riteish had earlier taken to social media to confirm about the film, by posting, "Dir @meranamravi gifts me a BANJO to practice. Super Music by my buddies @VishalDadlani @ShekharRavjiani #JanShoot." He had also posted a picture with the director who is best known for Marathi films like 'Balak Palak', 'Timepass' and 'Natrang'.
