Shoojit Sircar requests media to not speculate about Irrfan's health

Irrfan Khan's health issue has been a talk of the town for a while now and so filmmaker and close friend Shoojit Sircar requests all to stop stop speculating about his health issue.

Irrfan Khan's health issue has been a talk of the town for a while now. The talented actor was about to shoot for his next with Deepika Padukone helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj but, the shoot has been postponed as both the actors are keeping unwell.

However, Deepika is suffering from back pain but, Irrfan's health issue is unknown to everyone. While there have been various speculations and reports of him suffering from Cancer or Brain Tumor but, a few days back the actor had tweeted that he will himself share once they come with a conclusive diagnosis.

Today at an event, Shoojit Sircar who is known to be close to the actor after working with him in "Piku" (2015), commented on the same. He shared, "I think Irfan Khan has already given a press statement and he has also requested to not to speculate. He is the only actor who is actually called a 'Hollywood Star' in this country, so please do not speculate. He will give you'll a statement soon which will clear all your doubts. He is very close to me and he is fine now. I request you with folded hands to not speculate."

While we wish Irrfan to get well soon Shoojit has started promoting his upcoming film "October" starring Varun Dhawan and debutant Banita Sindhu.
