Deepika Padukone just made a shocking revelation about her engagement to Ranveer Singh. The couple who officially tied the knot in November this year, have been engaged for more than four years.

Yes, you read that right!

Deepika, who is the cover girl of Filmfare's January 2019 issue, in an exclusive interview with teh magazine revealed that she and Ranveer were engaged for about four years before getting hitched last month.

This revelation takes us back to the year 2016 when there were strong speculations and reports stating that Ranveer and Deepika got engaged in a private ceremony amidst their families.

Then, last year, there were again reports the couple got engaged during their Maldives vacations. However, the couple neither agreed nor denied the news.

Recently, on Karan Johar's chat show, "Koffee With Karan", Deepika had revealed that she and Ranveer have been in a relationship from the past six years. She also spoke about the video that went viral, which had her and Ranveer taking a stroll at Disneyland in Florida; it was actually Deepika's bachelorette trip which was gatecrashed by Ranveer and his buddies.
