Shoaib Malik reveals how he is fulfilling his daddy duties for son Izhaan after separation from Sania Mirza

When Shoaib Malik suddenly married Sana Javed in 2024, the cricketer faced the ire of netizens from India and Pakistan. There were rumours of trouble in his marital life with Sania Mirza but no one expected a quiet divorce and his quick third marriage. Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have a son Izhaan and are committed to be good parents to the little one. In an appearance for Ramadan Special on Pakistan TV, he spoke about how he manages to find time to be with Izhaan and their bond. The primary custody is with Sania Mirza who divides her time between India and Dubai.

He revealed that his son and he are more like buddies. He said Izhaan calls him bro, and he too uses that term for his son. After the news of his marriage, Sania Mirza’s father Imran told reporters that she had taken a Khula (an unconditional divorce) from Shoaib Malik and wants to keep other details private. But netizens dug out old clips of his current wife Sana Javed and Shoaib trolling them mercilessly. Shoaib Malik revealed that he travels twice to Dubai to be with his son. When he is there, he is a doting dad. From picking up his son from school to being with him for his football practice sessions, he is completely a devoted dad. It seems father and son play soccer in the park when he is free from school. He said that Izhaan Malik is completely crazy about football. Shoaib Malik said they speak regularly over a video.
