Innocent Indian tourists became victims to a cowardly attack by terrorists at Pahalgam, Kashmir. A group of militants who claim to be from The Resistance Front lined up Hindu men and shot them dead in front of their wives and children. PM Narendra Modi has promised strict action to avenge these deaths. Now, BCCI vice-president and former IPL honcho Rajeev Shukla has said that India won’t play with Pakistan in bilateral series. The Indian Government has told all Pakistan nationals to leave the country. They have also sealed the Attari Border in Wagah.
India Vs Pakistan match fever have dimmed due to the political unrest between the nations. The teams have not played a bilateral series since 2013. In a bold move, Indian players did not travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. This move got mixed reactions from some cricket boards. Rajeev Shukla said India stays firm on its decision to avoid bilateral series with Pakistan. Around 27 people have died in the terror attack.
We are with the victims and we condemn it. Whatever our government will say we will do. We don't play with Pakistan in bilateral series because of the government stand. And we will not play with Pakistan in bilaterals going forward.

Already, we are hearing that Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s Abir Gulaal won’t release in India as Government clamps down on Pakistani artistes. Rajeev Shukla said BCCI will follow the path shown by the Government. He said ICC is also looking into this issue when it comes to future ICC events.
