Shilpa Shetty was offered Rs 10 crore to endorse a slimming pill but she refused! Here’s why…

Actress Shilpa Shetty is also known for her fitness mantras apart from her contribution in the field of acting in not only Bollywood but various regional movies as well. The 44-year-old fit and fab actress has always encouraged the audience to not only eat healthy but also exercise daily. 

The actress has launched her wellness app, fitness DVD's and also The Great Indian Diet Book. Shilpa has continued to help and motivate people to keep their health as the top priority, even though her acting career had taken a backseat.

Recently, the fitness icon was offered Rs. 10 crores by an ayurvedic company to endorse a slimming pill. But Shilpa politely refused to endorse the pill. Talking about the same, in an interview with Mid-Day, she said, 

I can't sell something that I don't believe in. Slimming pills and fad diets can be tempting since they promise instant results, but nothing beats the sense of pride of being committed to your routine and eating right. Lifestyle modification works so much better in the long term.

On the work front Shilpa Shetty, who was last seen in a full-fledged role in Apne starring Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Dharmendra, will make3 her comeback in Bollywood after 13 years. She will be seen in Sabbir Khan's Nikamma which stars Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota actor Abhimanyu Dassani and social media sensation Shirley Shetia.

Announcing her return to films after 13 years, Shilpa had written, "Yesssssssss, it's true! My sabbatical of 13 long years comes to an end.. I am so excited to announce that the film you will see me next in is #Nikamma, directed by @sabbir24x7 (cast still being finalised) featuring these amazing and talented actors @abhimanyud @shirleysetia @sonypicturesin.
