Shekhar Ravjiani’s EGGxorbitant Meal: gets Charged Rs 1672 for Three Boiled Eggs!

After the Internet went Bananas (pun intended) over Rahul Bose being charged Rs 442 for two bananas at a five-star hotel, here’s a new ordeal where music composer Shekhar Ravjiani was billed more than a thousand bucks for three boiled eggs.

Shekhar tweeted about his ‘Eggxorbitant’ meal with a picture of the bill showing what he was charged for three egg whites at a five-star hotel in Ahmedabad on Thursday - Rs. 1,672. The composer wrote on Twitter: "Rs. 1672 for 3 egg whites??? That was an Eggxorbitant meal."

Moments after Shekhar shared his story on social media, netizens came up with hilarious memes in no time and even related it to Rahul Bose fiasco.

In July, actor Rahul Bose had shared a clip on Twitter when he was charged Rs. 442 for two bananas at a luxury hotel in Chandigarh. This had taken the Internet by storm and netizens had reacted by sharing their similar experiences online.

Soon after, a fine of Rs. 25,000 was imposed on the hotel by the Excise and Taxation Department for overcharging the actor.
