Shehzada is one of the most eagerly awaited Bollywood movies of the year, and it makes sense given that Kartik Aaryan makes his big-screen comeback following the smash hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Shehzada, which was scheduled to hit the big screens on February 10, 2023, has now been postponed by a week as per latest reports.

Pathaan is finally the Bollywood movie that can surpass Baahubali 2's records at the box office, making unfathomable business in India. The movie is breaking box office records in India, and according to Kartik Aaryan, it would be unfair to release it two weeks after a movie that is performing so well for the industry. Kartik and Shehzada producers have chosen to postpone the movie by a week out of respect for Shah Rukh Khan and since both movies are competing for the same audiences, the report mentioned.

'Pathaan' and 'Shehzada' teams are certain that this action will be advantageous for both organisations.

As Pathaan will continue to be the talk of the town due to its record-breaking run, releasing on February 10 does not even make commercial sense. Arriving a week later makes financial sense because it will help both movies generate a lot of money and offer the audience some breathing room, the report concluded.

Kriti Sanon and Paresh Rawal also play key roles in the Rohit Dhawan directorial film. Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill are the producers.

Meanwhile, Pathaan also features Deepika Padukone and John Abrahm in pivotal roles and is helmed by Siddharth Anand.

More like (sorry but it's true) they don't want PATHAN to smash their film sin d it's still going super strong & Valentine's day is coming so people will still be watching it as it's SRK.

Respect or the fact Pathaan is killing it, anything released now will just be decimated at the BO so pushing it a week will give the film a good chance to make money as by then Pathaan would have made maximum profits.

Actually a friend was telling me that in the south big productions never release their big films on same weekend. It’s an understanding, in BW it never happens. It is of course money that is dictating it, and not respect for each other, but distributing money among everyone is good economics for sure.

What respect? They are just scared of the clash and given its a remake they don't want to lose audience and incurr a loss
