Shefali Jariwala Death: Reason behind actress’ passing revealed

The untimely passing of actress and model Shefali Jariwala has left the entertainment industry and her fans in deep shock. Known widely for her breakout role in the early 2000s music video Kaanta Laga, Shefali was brought to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri late evening by her husband Parag Tyagi and three others. She was declared dead on arrival.

A hospital receptionist confirmed the heartbreaking news, saying, “Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body.” When approached, the on-duty Resident Medical Officer referred queries to cardiologist Dr Vijay Lulla, who neither confirmed nor denied the news, stating, “I cannot divulge any details regarding any patient.” Dr Sushant from the same hospital later confirmed that the body had been sent for a post-mortem to Cooper Hospital.

Now, sources close to the medical investigation have revealed that the actress reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest, leading to her sudden and tragic death. The final post-mortem report is still awaited, but preliminary indications point to heart failure as the likely cause.

The news of her passing has sparked an outpouring of grief across social media. Among the many tributes, singer Mika Singh—her long-time friend—shared an emotional note:

Just days before her death, she had posted a glamorous photo from a recent shoot on Instagram, captioned, “Bling it on baby! 🪩?” — a post now being remembered as her final bow.

Her passing is not just a loss to the industry but a painful reminder of life’s fragility.
