Manmarziyaan and Tandav actress Sukhmani Sadana is deeply shocked by the demise of Chandro Tomar, one of the two popular Shooter Dadis. Tomar passed away due to COVID-19 on Friday and Sadana recalls how she had hosted an event for the shooter dadi.

In a statement shared by her team, Sukhmani said:

“I remember when I had hosted an event for Jana bank as an anchor, shooter dadi was one of our chief guests. Our aim was to try to promote and market the bank to self- made and single women for a better and secure future. Shooter Rani was the perfect chief guest to represent strength and confidence as a woman."

Sukhmani added,

"When I got an opportunity to meet her back stage and spent time with her, I realised how she was a solid woman in the front but a gullible and kind-hearted person. She was an inspiration for the entire country. The country has lost a beautiful soul, I will miss her."

Sukhmani has been part of films like Manmarziyaan, web series like Sacred Games, Tandav, Udan Patolas, Apharan 2 on Zee 5 and Alt Balaji.

She has also written the script for Vikram Bhatt's 1920, Rocketry directed by R Madhavan with Shah Rukh Khan. Her next release as a writer is a film for Netflix, directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar starring Diljit Dossanjh. And next show as an actor is Apharan 2 for Alt Balaji.
