Shalini Kapoor talks about an ideal comeback role after Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum

Shalini Kapoor, who is popular for her shows like Qubool Hai, Swaragini, and a few others, has been keeping away from television seems to be waiting for the right role after her stint in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. The actress says how every era in TV has ushered in various trends and themes and goes on to cite how Gujarati shows were once a hit, then Punjabi themes ruled the shows and now, she thinks that the show makers are casting the mother as the central character in their shows.

She goes on to add how a mother is considered a symbol of not just strength but also patience and love along with other things. Acknowledging the trend, she goes on to say, ''It's heartening to see that show makers thought about mothers and about making them the central figure in the current shows. We have to be thankful to them for this." 

Further, Shalini also goes on to add how the kind of mothers that we see on television right now is something that tempts her into also wanting to play such a role. She adds how she would love to play the role of a strong family matriarch, who is central to the story of the show and that it would be an ideal comeback for her.
