Shaleen-Daljit as guest judge in a College fest.

The Nach Baliye couple Shaleen Bhanot and Daljit Kaur was recently seen as a judge in one of the college fest. They were invited by SIES College to judge the dance competition. The couple enjoyed a lot and was overwhelmed by the response they got from the students.

“We had a gala time judging the dance show at SIES College. Alongside we also got a good response from the students,” says Shaleen.

How did you feel after taking the judges’ seat? “To be frank enough, judging is very difficult and this experience made me believe it. It’s a huge responsibility as nothing could go wrong and we did not want to feel guilty after giving a decision”, adds the actor.

Were you strict or lenient when it came to commenting and giving marks? “I just stuck to my job. We had to look for everything, starting from costume to synchronization and presentation too. I used to discuss with Daljit before giving them marks”, quips he.

“One thing that I came to know after the event ended was that, there is so much talent in the young generation. We stand no where close to what they showed us through their steps and other elements, and that makes their dance more perfect,” states Shaleen.

“Now I can understand how much our judges in Nach have to go through. So from now on, all the comments from them will be welcomed. After being a judge here, I got to know what it really means to give a standing ovation, teen tali and band,” he concludes.
