Shaleen out of Pavitra Rishta...

Seems like Ekta Kapoor  doesn't want to leave anything to chance for Zee TV's post-leap Pavitra Rishta. As the show takes a 20 year jump,no compromises are being made with the new cast. Just a few days earlier TellyBuzz reported on the suspected entry of Roadies 4 contestant Shaleen Malhotra as Varun.
 
Latest reports suggest that he has opted due to prior commitments. According to our source, "Shaleen has already been signed to host the famous Auto Expo which is going to be held in the first week of January. Shaleen had requested for a 10-day break from Pavitra Rishta but Ekta intends to take no such risk. Shaleen had to choose between the two, and he chose the former as he had already made a commitment."

Shaleen refused to comment on the matter.

Speculations continue to hover around who will be playing Purvi's character. Sources suggest that, Asha Negi who was supposedly replaced by Shafaq Naaz, might be the final selection.

Let us wait and watch how the developments happen when the show finally takes the leap.
