Shaleen in awe with Suryakamal..

Shaleen Bhanot who plays the protagonist in Imagine's Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, produced by Rajshri Productions is simply in awe with his on screen character Suryakamal, so much so that he cant' get away from the simpleton's mannerisms even in his real life!!

Shaleen tells us, "I tend to carry a bit of Suryakamal home every day after pack up. I have to tell myself that I need to walk and talk in the normal way, once I am done with the shoot. But I am proud to be playing Suryakamal. The funny part is that my fans have forgotten Shaleen, and simply adore me for the role I play. This gives the man in me a complex, as I feel that Shaleen too is really handsome and cute (smiles). But the fact is that I can compromise only with Suryakamal and nobody else".

The chemistry of Shaleen and Shubhangi Atre has been appreciated by one and all. "Yes, now that the couple is getting closer, all are excited to see them together. Suryakamal and Preeti make a cute jodi and we thank Kavitaji for making our love story look so beautiful and simple", he quips.

Ask Shaleen as to how his better half Daljit reacts to the on screen chemistry of Shaleen and Shubhangi, and he is quick to say, "Oh, Daljit is an avid watcher of Do Hanson Ka Jodaa. She does not skip any episode, and is my biggest critic. In fact, being a dutiful wife she records the episodes for me to watch it leisurely (smiles)".

Shaleen had one good news to share with us. "Do Hanson Ka Jodaa was declared the #1 serial on Imagine this week. We had a gala time on sets and distributed sweets when we heard the news. The show has peaked at the right time and we are looking forward to good numbers now".

So what can the viewers look forward to in the coming episodes? "Well, we have a one hour special episode coming on 17th April which will bring Suryakamal and Preeti closer. But there is going to be a major twist happening which will completely change Suryakamal's life. So keep watching", he signs off.
