Shakuntalam to make its' next on Imagine!

Shakuntalam shows no signs of stopping.After coming up with a show for Zee TV and in process of planning another show for Star Plus, it's been heard that they will be soon launching one on Imagine TV as well.

A source informs Tellybuzz, "Shakuntalam had a very beautiful concept which they wanted to bring onto Imagine.  The show is about a girl, aged around 28-30 years, who is still unmarried,the reason being that her mother is very specific about the financial status of the groom. The girl was madly in love with a boy when she was 20, but since he was from a lower background, her mother objected to it. The search for a wealthy family continues."
 
"The show is set in a Maharashtrian backdrop. With a dominating mother, the three daughters are forced to lie about their lives so that they can do what their heart wishes to", adds the source.
 
The auditions for the same are underway. Aishwarya Narkar of Maykee Se Bandhi Dor... fame was approached for the role of the mother, but things don't seem to have worked out.

This interesting concept deems itself fit for an Imagine programming.
