Shahid’s Mother on Mira Rajput: First I Felt She is So Young But She Handled The Family Well; Reveals First Meeting

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are undeniably the most adorable celebrity couple of B Town. They tied the knot in Delhi on July 7, 2015. Having completed four beautiful years of marriage, the couple has two adorable kids Misha and Zain together. The happy family four often takes the Internet by storm with their utterly cute pictures on social media.

While Shahid is a Bollywood star, his darling wife Mira is not a part of the showbiz. However, Mira has never found herself in a tiff and has made herself comfortable in the starry environment. 

Shahid’s mother and actress Neelima Azeem reveals her first encounter with Mira and says that at first, she thought of Mira as a ‘bachchi’ but she has handled the entire family well. 

“I got to know from everyone that she's the chosen one. Shahid was extremely shy in the beginning and he wanted to see how I react. So when I met her with her mother, I just felt she is so carefree, so sweet, young. Mujhe laga yeh toh ekdam bachchi hai, kitni pyaari si bholi si. But then, she took on the mantle to be the wife to a successful star and surprised all of us. The pubic persona that she has, the way she handles herself in front of everyone, she's done it so well. And most importantly, she has made Shahid so happy. And Ishaan and my family seems complete now” Neelima told Pinkvilla.

Further, Neelima also heaped praises for her daughter in law and said: 

"She's the most undramatic person I know. Since we are all actors, we are extremely dramatic. I have never had a daughter, so Mira is my daughter. She has got the entire family together. The amount of love, and happiness she's given to Shahid and all of us, is beautiful."
