Shahid Kapoor teases fans about 'new phase' with a glimpse of the series, 'Farzi'

Giving the fans a rejoice in the New Year, Prime Video today dropped a promo video featuring Shahid Kapoor. In the video, the actor is seen taking an ‘artistic’ route where he is painting on a canvas, while envisaging a ‘new phase’ of his life. As the actor wonders if the audience will accept him in his new role, the promo video zooms in on the canvas, revealing about his upcoming Amazon Original series Farzi. After announcing his streaming debut with Raj & DK’s directorial, Farzi last year, it seems that the ‘artist’ is gearing up to unveil more details about the much-awaited crime-drama.

As known, Farzi is one of the most anticipated projects in recent times as not only does it mark the digital debut of Kapoor but also has stalwart actors like Vijay Sethupathi and Kay Kay Menon being a part of it. 

Kapoor was last seen in the film, Jersey which inspite of good reviews from the critics failed at the box office. Apart from Farzi, Kapoor is also set to collaborate with Kriti Sanon for an upcoming film and with director Ali Abbas Zafar for Bloody Daddy.

A while later, a promo video of Vijay Sethupathi also dropped on the Amazon Prime Video page as he was seen saying 'you can come many but not me. I am coming only on Prime Video'-

When it comes to Sethupathi, apart from Farzi, the actor ak has an array of projects in the pipeline with the likes of Michael in Telugu, Merry Christmas, Mumbaikar and Jawan in Hindi, and silent film, Gandhi Talks.
