Shahid Kapoor backs OUT from IIFA 2018 in the last moment, Here's why

Kapoor was to put up a power-packed performance but will not perform because of this reason.

Actor Shahid Kapoor, who was scheduled to perform a power-packed act at IIFA awards in Bangkok, Thailand on June 24th, now won't be able to perform.

Post his return from Tehri where he was shooting for his upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu, the actor immediately started the dance rehearsals for his IIFA performance.

According to a source, "It was while attempting a tricky step that he suffered a back spasm and was advised against any strenuous activity by the doctor. Although Shahid was scheduled to fly out to Thailand last night, he called off the plan. The IIFA organizers were fairly understanding about it."

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu and the Hindi remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy.

In his personal wife, Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor are expecting their second child. About the arrival of the second baby, Shahid's step-sister Sanah Kapoor in an exclusive interview with us revealed about the preparations back at home.

She expressed, "I am super excited because Misha has lit up our family so much. She has become the centre of everyone's life so much. She is somebody who brightens up everything. It's like she walks into the room and everyone's' happy. Doesn't matter what's happening".

"Now the new one coming around, it's just going to be amazing that my family is glowing so beautifully and I am really looking forward to meeting him or her", added Sanah.
