Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi’s thriller web series gets a title

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is all set to make his big digital debut as he has signed Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's next web series.

While the makers are yet to make an announcement, a lot has already been known about the project. It is slated to be a thriller web show and also features Vijay Sethupathi in a key role.

The web series is slated to go on floors next month and will be premiered on Amazon Prime as an original. If the latest reports are to be believed, the show has got its title as well. Shahid and Vijay’s show is tentatively titled Gavar (illiterate), reports Bollywood Hungama. 

Reportedly, both the actors have signed the  contracts and have already locked their dates for the project. The digital show will be shot across Mumbai and Goa, starting January and will be an eight or ten part episodic series that will be wrapped up around March/April.

Shahid was supposed to first commence work on Shashank Khaitan's Yoddha before starting this digital project. However, the actor opted out of the Dharma project due to creative differences and will now directly start working on the Raj and DK actioner.
