Shah Rukh Khan to shoot for Atlee's 'Jawan' in Chennai in a month long schedule

Shah Rukh Khan is having a great year right now! Fans are unable to contain their excitement as the actor, last seen in Aanand L Rai's love drama Zero in 2018, is about to make a comeback to big screen appearances.

The actor is currently back on set for the Atlee-directed movie Jawan in Chennai. Since it was announced, the casting and the movie has generated a tonne of hype. The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor will work with Atlee for the first time ever, while South actress Nayanthara will play the female protagonist in the movie.

A month-long schedule of Jawan filming would be held in Chennai with Shah Rukh Khan. The actor will return to the Dunki sets much later, as per the latest reports. In addition to SRK and Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover play important roles in the movie. On June 2, 2023, the movie will be released in theatres in the following languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Recently, Deepika Padukone was seen in Chennai with Shah Rukh and Atlee, sparking rumours that she would make a brief appearance in the movie.

The Jawan teaser, which was released in June, sets the stage for the movie's upcoming larger-than-life action entertainment. Thalapathy Vijay has additionally joined the cast of SRK's Jawan. On the sets, the actor was seen with King Khan in a set photograph that has since surfaced online. In addition to Thalapathy Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi is also reportedly  expected to have a significant part in the movie.

Apart from this SRK will be seen in Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He also has Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki in the kitty.
