Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara to start filming for Atlee’s film next week

Atlee met SRK for the first time during the Indian Premier League, and the two decided to collaborate. SRK has consistently stated  that he does not wish to participate in a remake and that's the reason a new script was written for him. The film directed by Atlee is expected to be an action-packed adventure. 

According to reports, SRK will portray two characters in the film: a father and a son. Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover will also appear in significant roles.

Shah Rukh Khan has returned from Spain and will begin filming next week for his upcoming film which is directed by Atlee. "Nayanthara will also star in the film and will accompany the actor on this schedule, which will take place in Mumbai for approximately ten days," an industry insider told ETimes. 

Reports have it that SRK will take a break from this project to work on Raju Hirani's film, which is scheduled to go on floors in Mumbai on April 16. The film has Vicky Kaushal making a cameo appearance in the film, and Taapsee Pannu is rumoured to play the lead, but neither the actress nor the film's production team have confirmed this. 

Shah Rukh shot for Atlee's film in South Mumbai prior to leaving for the 'Pathaan' schedule. Nayanthara co-stars with SRK in  Atlee, which began production last September. The film shooting began in Pune and coincided with the filming of 'Pathaan.'
