Shabbir Ahluwalia: After Fixerr, I'll like to do More Character Driven Shows

After Divyanka Tripathi, Ekta Kapoor's blue-eyed boy Shabbir Ahluwalia has made his digital debut with ALT Balaji. Shabbir can be seen playing the lead role in ALT Balaji and Zee5's newly launched series, Fixerr. The series revolves around a tainted ATS Officer from Delhi who is drawn into the murky underbelly of Mumbai movie mafia and industrialists. Later, he ends up becoming a fixer. 

In a candid conversation with us, Shabbir shared his excitement and experience of working in the digital medium. Sharing his excitement he said, "It's a fantastic feeling, the experience couldn't have been better. Fixerr is a masala entertainer so it was very interesting to shoot for it. Besides, the whole cast is amazing and we had loads of fun while shooting. When you do an entertaining show, you don't get tired and that's the best thing."

Speaking about what took him so long to make his debut on web, he quipped, "Actually time was the biggest constraint. When you do a web show you have to be committed to it fully. There were a lot of good offers that came my way but I couldn't do it because of shortage of time. Also, I wanted to debut with a show that was entertaining because all my life I've done such shows, so I was looking for a script with different shades of fun, action and romance and Fixerr had everything. After Fixerr, I'll maybe like to do more character driven shows."
