Set of Comedy Nights with Kapil turns into ashes and is destroyed!

This is not the first time that there is a fire in Film city. Few months back there was a fire at Film City on the sets of the show Housewife Hai...Sab Kuch Jaanti Hai which aired on Zee TV due to a short circuit that took place. And this time it is the set of the popular comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil  of K9 Productions which airs on Colors, which has completely turned into ashes. 

The reason here too is the same - it is due to short circuit on the set of Comedy Nights with Kapil, that the entire set was on fire. This incident took place early in the morning at around 8 am. Our source informs us, "The entire set is on fire and luckily no one is injured. But the set has suffered huge loss due to fire."

"The shooting for the show was to begin in the afternoon and everybody was getting ready for the same. Only the production house members were present on the sets. The very well-known singer Sonu Nigam was to come to shoot today for the upcoming episode of the show too which eventually had to be stopped today."

We tried getting in touch with Kapil Sharma but he remained unavailable for any comments. We called Upasana Singh who plays the role of Bua in the show, in grief she said, "I am very sad after getting to know about this news. It has disheartened me drastically as it was my personal favorite set."

Further she elaborated saying, "But I am thankful to god that nobody on the sets has injured themselves. Today we were supposed to shoot for our show and it was an afternoon shift, if the fire would have had taken place at that time then many people would have had lost their lives. The set has only 2 exit doors and they are extremely small, hence many people would be stuck on the sets itself."

Kapil Sharma and the creative head is really upset and sad with the news says Upasana, "Kapil and our creative head Preeti Simoes are very upset and sad with what has happened. Today we were to shoot with Sonu Nigam in the afternoon. We don't even have a bank for the coming episode, it is going to be a tough time. I wonder, how will we manage shooting for the upcoming episodes."

A request that she wants to bring into the limelight, "My sincere request to all the set people who manage the production is to take care of the wires that are lying around. There should be an arrangement made for them so that it is safe on the set and the people who are working on the set. It is a danger sign for the people when they see a wire lying down and people have to stamp on it and go. Anything can happen at any time."

Furthermore we also contacted Sunil Grover who essays the role of Guthi in the show, who was shocked to hear the news that Comedy Nights with Kapil's set was on fire, "The news came as a shock to me in the morning. I really don't know what to say on this, I have no words. It will take some time to relate to this situation and we hope that things will get settled soon."

Its is really sad to know about this news. But the good part is that nobody has injured themselves. We too hope that the situation is normal and everything gets fine soon.
