Just a day later, she attended the Academy Women’s Luncheon presented by Chanel, where she shared a heartwarming moment with Ariana Grande. In an interview with People Magazine, Gomez expressed her gratitude, stating, “I’m overwhelmed, very, very honoured and grateful.”

During her keynote address at the luncheon, Gomez spoke candidly about the isolating nature of the entertainment industry. “I know firsthand how isolating this industry can feel at times,” she remarked. “But moments like this and rooms like this remind me that I'm not alone, and we aren't alone.” She acknowledged her supportive table filled with notable women, including Grande, Amy Adams, Pamela Anderson, Awkwafina, Gal Gadot, Rita Wilson, Mila Kunis, and Olivia Wilde.

On the red carpet, Gomez emphasized the importance of focusing on small positives amidst negativity. “It's humor for me,” she said. “I know people say it's a defense mechanism; however, I think it's a great distraction from all of the noise sometimes. Just having a laugh with friends can bring a little light.”
