Selena Gomez’s fiance Benny Blanco BREAKS SILENCE ON Hilarious Oscars Mix-Up

Benny Blanco is tickled pink to have been mixed up with Bad Bunny. The 37-year-old record producer was recently mistaken for the 31-year-old rap star by the official X account of the Oscars – but Benny feels flattered to have been confused for the ‘Mia’ hitmaker.

During an appearance on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’, Benny was asked about the mix-up and he replied: “They did? “I like that. What do you mean? He’s so hot! I’ll take it, I’ll take it. What do you mean? “Look at how pretty he is – are you kidding? Yeah, I’m Bad Bunny now."

In March, the Academy posted a photo of Benny alongside Selena Gomez, his fiancee, but the snap was captioned: “Selena Gomez and Bad Bunny." However, the post was quickly edited and the new caption read: “Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco x 97th #Oscars (sic)"

Benny and Selena announced their engagement in 2024, and the actress recently revealed that she’s “so excited" about the prospect of having children. The brunette beauty – who previously revealed that she isn’t able to carry her own children – said on the ‘Jay Shetty Podcast’: “I don’t know what will happen, obviously, but I love children. I have an 11-year-old sister that I absolutely adore.

“I love making [children] laugh; they’re just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I’m so excited for it."

Benny observed that Selena is the “ultimate level of shy". However, the record producer noted that her demeanor changes when she’s around children.
