Script of Indira Gandhi's biopic sent to Sonia Gandhi for approval

Manish Gupta's next is a biopic on the Ex-PM Indira Gandhi. As reported earlier Vidya Balan has been approached for the role, though she hasn't confirmed yet but is definitely considering the option.

Now we hear that the director has sent a copy of the script to Sonia Gandhi for her approval of the biopic on her mother-in-law. The director would also meet the MP personally. Since the biopic is highly based on facts and figures the consent was necessary.
