Sayantani Ghosh finally goes for her honeymoon after it being delayed by three months

Actor Sayantani Ghosh can finally feel on cloud nine yet again. After her marriage with longtime boyfriend Anugrah Tiwari back in December, the actor was waiting to go on her long-awaited honeymoon ever since. At that time, the newlyweds had no choice but to wait for a more opportune time to go on their honeymoon. Mainly because Ghosh was on Tera Yaar Hoon Main at that time. But the show went off-air on 29th January 2022 and now three months after their wedding, they have gone to Sri Lanka on their honeymoon.

Talking about it with ETimes TV, Ghosh said, “A TV actor gets time to be with her family and travel in between shows and I am going to make the most of it. We are off for 10 days. Anugrah and I had not been abroad together. So, we were certain about visiting someplace out of India. Keeping in mind the COVID-19 norms and protocols, we didn’t want to go far away. We didn’t want to go to the Maldives for sure, because we have seen ample of it on social media (laughs!). So, we zeroed in on Sri Lanka.”

She adds, “We have been travelling for almost a month since TYHM wrapped up. We spent two weeks each in my sasural, Jaipur, and maayka, Kolkata. We went during the winters and hence, wanted to go to a place, which was less cold. Dubai, too, was on the list. However, Anugrah didn’t want it to be a shopping sojourn. The intention was to explore a new country and culture, as we spent some quality time together.”

We hope the couple enjoys their honeymoon as planned.
