Savant Singh Premi on why he has quit TV since 2018

Actor Savant Singh Premi used to be a prominent TV name a few years ago where he starred in multiple TV shows that included the likes of Jamai Raja and Haasil among others. However, since 2018, the actor has been absent from the small screen circuit and it so happens, he has actually quit TV.

Talking about it, Singh Premi mentioned how he felt saturated and waited for something different to come his way which would put him out of his comfort zone. Then and that is how Velle and Jug Jugg Jeeyo happened to him and now he aspires to work with good directors and take characters that only satisfy him as an artiste.

The actor, who moved to Mumbai from Delhi in 2013 talked about how he had to survive here cutting corners financially. “It’s not easy to survive when you are waiting to get a break and it is emotionally draining. My family supported me as much as they could but we had our own limitations. My family moved to Mumbai to save rent in another city and help me pursue my dreams. They know I will make a mark one day and things will only get better from there. (smiles).”

Singh Premi continues to aspire to do good roles on the big screen and with Jug Jugg Jeeyo in the pipeline, here's hoping that happens soon.
