Bollywood's ace choreographer Saroj Khan has roped in Aditi Rao Hydari to do a special song for Mrinal Kulkarni's Marathi period film "Rama Madhav".

Saroj Khan had earlier choreographed Aditi in one of her southern films and the latter felt that the actress is a perfect choice for the song keeping in mind her "classic beauty" and her training in "classical dance", said a statement.

Set in the 17th century, based on the love story of legendary warrior of Maratha empire Peshwa Madhavrao and his wife Ramabai, the film has historic, old world appeal.

"The characters, their clothes, etc are all exactly like it was in the 17th century. Given this, Aditi's special song showcases her in a beautiful classic lehanga-choli with exquisite gold jewellery, right from the maang teeka to the round nose rings," said a source.

"Keeping the look in mind and the fact that she needed a beautifully trained classical dancer, Sarojji immediately requested Aditi to do the song and the actress was happy to do it. Her classic beauty coupled with the fact that she's a trained classical dancer, all the pieces just fit in beautifully," the source added.

Saroj Khan is known for bringing out the best in some of the dancing divas of Bollywood including Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.
